If you noticed that your workout isn’t displayed as a separate activity in the app or calories burned during exercise don’t show up clearly, here’s why — and how GoBe actually tracks your energy expenditure.
Supported activity types
At the moment, GoBe recognizes only two types of physical activity: walking and running. These are the only ones shown as separate activities in the app, with dedicated metrics such as energy burned.
What happens with other workouts?
If you’re doing yoga, cycling, strength training, elliptical workouts, treadmill sessions, or any other type of exercise, GoBe won’t display them as individual workouts — but that doesn’t mean calories aren’t counted.
Even when an activity isn’t recognized as a workout, GoBe still tracks key indicators:
Your heart rate
Hand movement
Anthropometric data (weight, age, etc.)
Based on these inputs, GoBe calculates your total energy expenditure throughout the day, including the time of your workout. So if your heart rate was elevated during the activity, the device includes those calories in your total.
Where can I see workout calories?
Although there’s no dedicated “Workout” entry for unsupported activity types, the “Energy” section of the app still reflects all calories burned — including those from your training session.
What’s coming next?
We understand how important it is to track various types of workouts. That’s why the HEALBE team is working on adding support for more sports modes in future updates, so you’ll be able to see more detailed stats across a wider range of activities.
