If you constantly see that your device is in calibration mode in the HEALBE app, it means that the band does not have enough heart rate data to calculate your stress level. Here's what that means and what you can do about it.
How stress level is calculated
To assess your current stress level, GoBe needs continuous heart rate data from the past hour. As long as this data is incomplete or missing, the band will stay in calibration mode.
What interrupts calibration
If you take off the band or
If the sensor loses contact with your skin for more than 15 minutes,
the calibration process starts over from scratch.
If contact is lost briefly (under 15 minutes), the algorithm will resume where it left off.
So if you're wearing the band loosely, or it often loses contact during the day (for example, while charging or taking a shower), it may keep recalibrating and never complete.
What to do if “Calibration” won’t go away
If you’ve worn your GoBe consistently for more than 1–2 hours and still see “Calibration”, the calibration process may be stuck.
To troubleshoot:
Make sure the band fits snugly on your wrist - not too loose.
Wear the device continuously for at least 1 hour, without removing it.
Avoid frequent reconnections or switching between apps during this time.
If the issue persists:
Send us a screenshot of the stress screen from the HEALBE app.
We’ll be happy to look into it and help you further!
