Activity Points are an indicator of your physical activity that helps you understand how close you are to the recommended activity level for maintaining good health.
The system is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) physical activity recommendations.
By default, the goal is set to 150 points per week, which is approximately 22 points per day. You can change this goal in the Profile of the "Insights" section of the app.
How Activity Points Are Calculated
Points are awarded for physical activity throughout the day. The algorithm takes into account:
- walking;
- running;
- workouts and other activities that increase heart rate;
- heart activity intensity.
The calculations also consider individual user parameters, including:
- age;
- gender;
- weight;
- Body Mass Index (BMI);
- individual heart rate characteristics.
Please note that Activity Points are not displayed for the current day. The data is calculated once a day, so today’s result will become available the following day. This is the expected behavior of the feature.
The primary purpose of Activity Points is to help you evaluate your overall weekly activity level. Therefore, we recommend focusing on your weekly progress rather than your score for any individual day.
Activity Points help you:
- track daily and weekly progress;
- better understand your activity level;
- stay motivated;
- see how closely your lifestyle matches WHO recommendations.
