Activity Points help you evaluate your physical activity level and track your progress throughout the week.
The system is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for physical activity. By default, the weekly goal in the app is set to 150 Activity Points, or approximately 22 points per day.
You can change your goal in your Profile in the Insights section of the app.
How Are Activity Points Calculated?
Activity Points are awarded for physical activity throughout the day. The calculation takes into account:
- Walking
- Running
- Workouts and other activities that increase your heart rate
- The intensity of physical activity
The calculation also considers your individual parameters, including:
- Age
- Gender
- Weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Individual heart rate characteristics
This means that the number of Activity Points you earn depends not only on how long you are active, but also on the intensity of the activity and your individual characteristics.
Why Can’t I See My Activity Points for Today?
Activity Points are calculated once per day, so your Activity Points for the current day will appear in the app on the following day.
This is the expected behavior of the feature and does not mean that GoBe U is not tracking your activity during the day.
Which Activity Points Should I Focus On?
Activity Points are primarily designed to help you evaluate your overall activity level for the week. We recommend focusing on your weekly progress rather than the number of points earned on any individual day.
Your weekly goal helps you evaluate your activity level based on the physical activity recommendations that this feature is built around.
