Use the original charging cable that came with your GoBe U to charge the device.
How Do I Charge My GoBe U?
- Make sure the charging contacts on your GoBe U and the cable are clean and dry.
- Connect the charging cable to your GoBe U first.
- Then connect the cable to a power source.
- Wait for the device to fully charge.
- When charging is complete, disconnect the cable from the power source.
You can use a computer USB port or a wall adapter. We recommend using a standard power adapter with a fixed 5 V output.
A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours. With normal use, we recommend charging your GoBe U approximately once every two days.
When Is the Best Time to Charge GoBe U?
Whenever possible, choose a charging time between meals.
To help GoBe U track processes associated with nutrient absorption, we recommend putting the band back on at least 30 minutes before your next meal.
How Do I Know if GoBe U Is Charging?
While charging, the light indicator on GoBe U changes depending on the battery level:
- Purple - charging has started
- Red - below 20%
- Yellow - 20% to 70%
- Green - 70% or higher
- Solid green - charging is complete
When Should I Charge My GoBe U?
GoBe U provides low-battery notifications at 20% and 5%. After the 5% notification, there may be no additional warning before the device runs out of power.
We recommend charging your GoBe U after the 5% battery notification to avoid an unexpected shutdown.
You can check whether the band is still on in the HEALBE app or by briefly pressing the side button.
What Should I Do After a Complete Battery Drain?
When the battery level becomes very low, GoBe U automatically turns off and stops collecting data.
After a complete battery drain:
- Charge your GoBe U.
- Open the HEALBE app.
- Connect the band to the app and sync it.
Once synchronization is complete, GoBe U will resume collecting data.
If you simply recharge your GoBe U and put it back on without syncing it with the app, data collection will not restart automatically.
Can I Wear GoBe U While Charging?
For safety, we recommend removing GoBe U from your wrist while charging.
If you need to charge the band while wearing it, use only a portable power source that is not connected to a power outlet, such as a power bank.
Do not charge GoBe U while wearing it using a wall adapter, laptop, or any other device connected to a power outlet.
How Do I Use the Charging Cable Safely?
Do not allow the charging contacts on the cable to touch metal objects, such as paper clips, tools, or other metal surfaces. This may cause a short circuit and overheat the cable.
To reduce the risk of a short circuit:
- Connect the cable to your GoBe U before connecting it to the power source.
- Disconnect the cable from the power source after charging.
- Do not leave the cable connected to a power source when it is not attached to GoBe U.
- Keep the charging contacts away from metal objects.
Where Can I Buy an Extra Charging Cable?
You can purchase an additional GoBe U charging cable from the official HEALBE store.
