Does GoBe U support fast charging?

GoBe U supports accelerated charging, but not fast charging standards like Quick Charge or Power Delivery. The band charges faster than the previous model thanks to a higher charging current (up to 1C), but it will only draw the necessary current: 5V / 0.3A.

Using a more powerful adapter (e.g., 5V / 2A or 5V / 3A) is safe, but it will not improve charging speed – GoBe U is designed to draw only as much power as it needs.

We recommend a minimum power adapter rating of 5V / 1A.

Note:
We do not recommend charging GoBe U with a power bank. Many power banks automatically shut off at low current draw (0.3A), which may interrupt or prevent full charging.
