If an error message appears on your HEALBE Smart Scale display, you can find out what it means and what you can do to resolve the issue below.
Err1: Bioimpedance analysis could not be completed
What it means: The scale successfully registered your body weight but was unable to complete the bioimpedance analysis, which is required to calculate additional body composition parameters such as body fat percentage and muscle mass.
This may happen due to insufficient contact between your feet and the electrodes or other conditions that interfere with the bioimpedance signal.
How to fix it:
- Weigh yourself barefoot - bioimpedance analysis requires direct skin contact with the electrodes.
- Make sure your feet are firmly touching all the electrodes on the scale platform.
- If you have a large foot size (EU 45 or larger), try adjusting your foot placement slightly to ensure good contact with all the electrodes.
- If the skin on your feet is very dry or callused, this may interfere with the bioimpedance signal.
- Do not step off the scale too early. Remain on the scale until the full measurement process is complete and the additional parameters are displayed.
- Make sure the surface of the scale is clean. If necessary, clean the platform with alcohol and allow it to dry completely.
If these recommendations do not help and the Err1 error continues to appear, try placing your palms on the electrodes on the scale platform. If the bioimpedance analysis still cannot be completed and the same error appears, the issue may be related to the scale platform itself.
In this case, please contact our Customer Care team and we’ll advise you on the next steps.
Err: Maximum weight limit exceeded
What it means: The Err message appears when the maximum supported weight of 180 kg has been exceeded.
How to fix it:
Make sure your weight does not exceed 180 kg. If your weight is within the supported range but the error continues to appear, try restarting the scale.
If restarting the scale does not help, please contact our Customer Care team.
Lo: Low battery
What it means: The Lo message indicates that the battery level is too low for the scale to operate normally.
How to fix it:
Replace the batteries with three new AAA batteries. After replacing the batteries, the scale should return to normal operation.
If the Lo message continues to appear after installing new batteries or the scale is not working correctly, please contact our Customer Care team.
