Why do I see caloric intake that occurred when I was sleeping?
GoBe2 does not directly track what you eat, rather it tracks the energy consumed by your body. GoBe2 registers calorie intake at the time when calories are absorbed by the body, at the stage where nutrients are delivered into the blood.
Different stages of the digestion process take different amounts of time.
Depending on the composition of the meal, 90% of the food can appear in your blood after 1 hour (sweets, sugar) and after 9-10 hours (complex dishes with meat and side dishes). It is normal to see a night intake of calories because digestion may continue overnight, and, it may be slower than it is in the day since all processes in the body slow down at night. So even if your last meal was, for example, at 6 pm last night, the digestion and absorption process may continue even at 6-7 am next morning.
For this reason, we recommend evaluating the results of the previous day no earlier than noon of the next day.
