GoBe U uses low-level electrical signals to measure bioimpedance and wireless communication to transmit data. The electromagnetic radiation emitted by the band is very low and non-ionizing.
How Safe Are the Electrical Signals?
To measure the bioimpedance of the skin and tissues, GoBe U uses electrical signals at specific frequencies.
The voltage amplitude is set so that the current does not exceed the permissible levels for prolonged exposure established by the international standard IEC 60601-1-1:2000.
According to HEALBE's technical specifications, the effect of this current is localized to the area beneath the band's electrodes and reaches a depth of no more than 4 cm. Therefore, the electrical signals are not intended to have a deep effect on body tissues or internal organs.
Certifications and Regulatory Compliance
HEALBE devices have documentation confirming compliance with applicable requirements:
- CE - indicates the manufacturer's declaration of conformity with applicable European requirements.
- FCC - confirms compliance with applicable regulations for radio frequency equipment.
- RoHS - confirms compliance with restrictions on certain hazardous substances in device components.
These certifications and compliance documents cover different aspects of product requirements, including radio frequency characteristics and materials used in the devices.
