GoBe3: Contraindications and Factors That May Affect Accuracy

Before using GoBe3, please review the contraindications and other factors that may affect the accuracy of your measurements.

Who Should Not Use GoBe3?

GoBe3 is not recommended for:

• pregnant women;
• children under the age of 18;
• people with medical conditions that may significantly affect water and electrolyte balance, cardiovascular or kidney function, or metabolic processes. These may include diabetes, chronic hepatitis, circulatory disorders, obesity, and hormonal imbalances.

If you have a medical condition and are unsure whether you can use GoBe3, please consult your healthcare provider before using the device.

What Can Affect GoBe3 Accuracy?

Certain health conditions, lifestyle factors, and environmental conditions may affect your body’s normal physiological processes and reduce the accuracy of GoBe3 measurements.

These include:

• acute illnesses accompanied by a body temperature above 37°C (98.6°F);
• significant changes from your usual physiological state, such as sleep deprivation, jet lag, or high emotional stress;
• fasting;
• restrictive or mono diets;
• frequent or intensive physical training, including prolonged exercise that causes significant muscle fatigue;
• extreme environmental conditions, including very cold or tropical climates, unusually high or low humidity, and significant changes in atmospheric pressure, such as at high altitude.

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Changes in fluid retention associated with PMS may affect the accuracy of some GoBe3 measurements.

Cancer

Cancer itself is not listed as a contraindication to using GoBe3. However, metabolic processes may differ in people with cancer, which can affect measurement accuracy. For this reason, HEALBE cannot guarantee the accuracy of GoBe3 data in such cases.

Allergies and Device Materials

GoBe3 does not contain nickel.

Do not use GoBe3 if you are allergic to any of the materials used in the device:

• Case: plastic
• Electrodes: titanium
• Screen: scratch-resistant glass
• Strap: silicone with a metal buckle

If you experience persistent skin irritation or discomfort while wearing GoBe3, remove the band and contact HEALBE Customer Care.
