USA

In the fall of 2018, the University of California Institute of Nutrition in Davis conducted a study on the calorie-tracking function of GoBe2.

The scientists compared the accuracy of the device and manual counting. Twenty-seven volunteers wore GoBe2 for 14 days under the supervision of specialists.

To estimate average daily calorie intake, the data were grouped into three-day intervals.

The GoBe2 readings and the manual calorie count had an accuracy difference of 10%. GoBe2 demonstrated an up to 90% accuracy among healthy adult volunteers.

China

At the end of 2018, the Red Cross Hospital in Guangzhou conducted a pilot study of the calorie-tracking function of the GoBe2. The volunteers were asked to wear GoBe2 for two weeks. The data were grouped into three-day intervals to estimate average daily calorie intake.

The average daily calorie intake value obtained using the GoBe2 and the results of manual counting differed by only 16%.
