We are sorry you experienced an issue with your device! Let's try to troubleshoot it.
First, let's see if you had your run on a treadmill. If you did and you held onto the rails of the treadmill, this could be the reason of inaccurate measurements.
Let us briefly explain how GoBe tracks distance.
Your steps and distance are measured by the accelerometer and based on arm movement. GoBe3 is most accurate at recognizing walking/ jogging/running.
If your hands are not active while you walk or exercise then the accuracy of distance detection may decrease.
This is true, for example, when you are shopping with your hands on a shopping a cart; when your hands are in your pockets; when you are carrying a bag, doing a treadmill, cycle, elliptical, or many weight training workouts.
If you did not run on a treadmill and your workout was tracked incorrectly, please let us know the exact date and time when this happened and send us a screenshot from your app. We will investigate the issue.
Please email this information to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and our engineers will take a look at it.
