How does GoBe measure Heart Rate?

GoBe2 uses a Piezo Sensor that detects pressure changes in blood vessel walls during the pulsation of blood. This method accurately determines the heart rate at rest.

Why do I need to know my HR at rest?

Your resting heart rate is a very important factor that can indicate your overall cardiovascular health. The accuracy of pulse measurements while exercising may decrease if the hands are not active enough during the workout (treadmill, cycle, elliptical, and some weight training workouts).
